Arriving at the clinic

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time so that registration can be completed. Reception will confirm your health card and contact details. If you are running late, call 905 625 5600 so that we can let the dermatologist know. Arriving significantly late may mean your appointment has to be rebooked.

Bring your valid Ontario health card, a list of your medications and any images or products related to the problem you were referred for. Full details are on the first visit page.

Hours

Clinic hours are being confirmed and will be published here. The telephone is answered during clinic hours. Outside those hours you may leave a message and we will return your call on the next clinic day. The clinic is closed on statutory holidays.

Phototherapy sessions are scheduled during clinic hours by the phototherapy nurse. Phototherapy scheduling windows are being confirmed.

Parking

Parking arrangements at 1065 Canadian Place, including whether parking is free, where visitor spaces are and whether accessible spaces are available, are being confirmed. Allow a few extra minutes to park and reach the unit on your first visit.

Public transit

The nearest MiWay bus routes and stops, and connections from GO Transit, are being confirmed. Plan your trip at miway.ca or using the Triplinx planner.

Accessibility

Details of step free access to the building, the elevator to the unit, the accessible washroom and accessible parking are being confirmed. If you need assistance entering the building or the clinic, call ahead on 905 625 5600 and a staff member will meet you. Service animals are welcome. See your rights for how to request an accommodation.

For referring offices

Referrals are sent by fax to 905 625 5650. Do not send patients to the clinic with a referral in hand: the referral must be reviewed and the patient booked by telephone first. See for referring physicians.

Not an emergency service

DermCare is an outpatient clinic and does not see walk in or emergency patients. A rapidly spreading rash with fever, widespread blistering, or swelling of the face or mouth needs the emergency department or 911.
